A Couple of Cuckoos (カッコウの許嫁, Kakkou no Iinazuke?) is an anime series which is based on the romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Miki Yoshikawa. Season 1 was premiere on April 23, 2022. On July 31, 2024, it was announced that Season 2 was set to be produced.
Plot[]
Switched at birth by mistake, Nagi Umino and Erika Amano would live their lives with their respective families that raised them. This would last until their biological parents set up an arranged marriage between them and would force them to live with one another in the same house arranged by Erika's father. To complicate matters, Nagi already has a love interest of his own named Hiro Segawa, the top student in his school. Not to mention his sister Sachi Umino is showing signs of jealousy towards Nagi's newfound relationship with Erika and would later run away from home to live with the two. All of this and more comical and dramatic situations arise in the life of Nagi and Erika as they try to adapt to their newly arranged living situation and livelihood with each other.
